Marcia ernst

Marcia holds a B.A. in art from Gustavus, a M.A. in education from St. Thomas. An artist and teacher, creativity and art have always been important threads woven throughout Marcia's life, showing up in many different ways.

Currently, her artistic focus is on beading and pottery. Years ago she began teaching herself beading as a way to embellish her quilting projects and became so fascinated that her quilting has since taken a back seat. In addition to teaching at Edina Art Center, Marcia has taught secondary art, family and consumer science and created a popular beadwork class at Shakopee High School.
