Park Board

The 12-member Park Board develops and reviews
plans for the acquisition and development of parks and recreational
facilities, develops recreation programs, reviews parkland dedications for
new subdivisions and makes recommendations to the Council.
Each member of the Board, which includes a
member of the Board of Education,
serves a three-year term.
Park Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers. When the second Tuesday falls on a national
holiday or election-day, the meeting is typically moved to the following
Wednesday.
Quarterly meetings are aired on Edina Community Channel 16 at 3 a.m., 11
a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m., 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Fridays, and air for
a month following the meeting.
Park Board members are David Deeds, Todd Fronek, Joseph Hulbert, Susan
Jacobson, Ellen Jones, Bill Lough, Randy Meyer, student James Neville, Daniel
Peterson, Louise Segreto, Keeya Steel and
student Patricia
Weicht.
Note that the December meeting of the Park Board will be held in
the Community Room of Edina City Hall.
