Fourth of July Parade

Celebrate Independence
Day by participating in Edina’s annual Fourth of July parade. The biggest
community event of the year, the parade begins at 10 a.m., July 4, behind Edina
City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., and ends at the U.S. Bank parking
lot at 50th Street and Halifax Avenue. Several thousand people
attend the parade each year.
Highlights of the
45-minute parade features veterans, marching bands, clowns, floats put
together by neighborhood groups and community organizations and costumed
character appearances.
The Fourth of July
Parade Planning Committee encourages veterans, members of associations,
civic organizations or organized neighborhoods to march in the parade.
